Handmade lidded vessel by studio potter Brad Tucker. Wheel-thrown stoneware with a pulled loop finial lid, round storage jar form, and a raised foot. The glaze is deep ocean blue with ash-like drips giving it a smoky, atmospheric look that fits modern rustic, wabi-sabi, coastal, and artisan interiors. The impressed potter’s mark appears near the base. Size approx. 8.5" tall x 7.25" wide. Tucker is part of the late 20th / early 21st century American studio pottery movement, which emphasized small-batch craft over mass production and brought functional ceramics back into everyday homes. Made in North Carolina. Stoneware body is sturdy and meant to be used or displayed as sculpture.
Condition: no cracks or repairs noted; minor glaze variations and small firing marks are original to the making.
