This design is similar to the currently sold Forest Moon, but it was purchased in 2018 and was already discontinued at the time of purchase. It was the last one in stock, with no remaining inventory from the manufacturer.

This is the first fountain pen collection announced by Schon Design in 2019. The Pocket Six was created in response to requests from American users for a "fountain pen to take on a journey." It features a compact size when stored, stability when writing, a large size nib, and high durability due to metal cutting.

A waterproof packing is installed inside the cap to prevent ink leakage when traveling and to prevent the nib from drying out for a long time.

The coloring by anodizing, which changes the metal surface color, does not peel off and increases the durability of the original material.

In addition, to meet the demands of American users who often travel by plane, the nib is sealed to maintain airtightness. This prevents ink leakage due to pressure differences and reduces the risk of ink leaking out of the cap in case of a fall.

Among American pen fans, "Six" means a large nib. As the name suggests, this fountain pen achieves a compact size that can be carried anywhere in your pocket and a flexible writing feel characteristic of a fountain pen due to its large nib.

The pen body is handmade one by one by Ian Schon in a new workshop in Philadelphia. Each part, machined from metal, is very durable, resulting in a fountain pen that "can be used for a long time."

The nib is made by German company BOCK, allowing you to enjoy the smooth writing feel unique to high-end writing instruments.
