(SACD-HYBRID) at his recitals Lundkvist has regularly performed representative works by Swedish composers such as Torsten Nilsson, Otto Olsson, Bengt Hambraeus, Siegfried Naumann and Daniel B'rtz. He also performs with orchestras in Sweden not only with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra but also the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Conductors he has worked with include Antal Dorati, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, and Leonard Slatkin. His recordings have brought him a succession of prestigious awards. On this SACD Erik Lundkvist plays Swedish organ works from the 20th century, such as "Fantasia e Fuga" by Hilding Rosenberg, two pieces by Herald Frykl'f and Otto Olsson's "Prelude and Fugue in F sharp minor Op 52". Also included is the exciting piece "Requiem per Organo Op 137" by Gunno S'dersten.
