Excellent Condition Ebonite Core Montblanc 144 Black Full Gold M Medium Nib Fountain Pen

This is a highly sought-after 144, which went out of production over a decade ago and is no longer available new.

This particular pen is an early model, manufactured in the early 1980s, and features an ebonite feed, rather than the cost-reduced resin feed found in later models.

Unlike the successor model, the 145, which has a screw-cap, this pen has a snap-cap, making it more convenient to use.

The nib width is M (Medium). It's a well-balanced nib width, neither too thick nor too thin.

The pen is in excellent condition, with no cracks, malfunctions, or engraved name.
