GSM stands for grams per square meter, and simply put it measures the weight of the fabric. A higher GSM indicates a higher density of fibers in the fabric, resulting in a softer and more durable sheet. Most bed sheets have GSM values range from 75 to 120 and can reach up to 150-170.
