Orient & Flume studio glass pear paperweight in a dark marine blue with luster finish. Cut lampwork applied leaf. Etched signature bottom with code GGU8. About 4.25” tall, 2.75” diameter. From the award winning glass studio founded in 1972 by Douglas Boyd at the corner of Orient and Flume Streets in Chico, California. Renowned for reviving the quality silver luster of turn of the century iridescent glass, their pieces are highly prized and popular with collectors. PLEASE NOTE: some light scratches one side (see detail) otherwise good preowned condition.
