Made in England: The blue and white pattern was made in 1976 to celebrate the USA’s Bicentennial and served as a give-away incentive for a Savings and Loan, and then later, a grocery store. Each piece depicts one of 15 different historical scenes. For example, the soup bowl shows the Old North Church. The main dinner plate listed here, has a beautiful scene of Independence Hall.
What a special pattern to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence at Liberty Hall next year.
The center of these 9 7/8” dinner plate depicts Independence Hall in Philadelphia, as part of their Historic Scene Collection. The rim is blue and white floral.
This pattern was made between 1976 and 1981 and is now discontinued. Wonderful pieces for non Collectors and Collectors
