It captures the everyday life and scenery of the South, including portraits, buildings, and landscapes, evoking the local culture of America.

I purchased this book as "new" at the time of publication and have kept it stored on my bookshelf at home ever since.

The cover has some scratches, creases, and stains.
I think it's in good condition considering its age.
There is some yellowing on the top and edges of the photo book itself, but it does not affect the viewing of the photos.

I have several of Eggleston's photo books, and I love them all. I hesitated greatly about whether to list this one, but I have decided to let go of this large-format book this time in order to reduce my belongings through decluttering.
